ABOUT —

First class passenger. Age seventeen. University student who has abruptly left behind his studies in Britain and boarded the Titanic to return to his homeland of America after a tragic accident (perhaps of supernatural origins) claimed the lives of his mother, father, younger sister, and cousin-in-law. Interested in musical studies; plays piano and guitar. A bit of an "artsy" sort. While he tends to stay with the upper class by default, he may occasionally be found seeking quiet places in other regions of the ship beyond first class territory. Will not be retaining his memories of his previous existence.

MANNERISM —

A quiet young man of a polite and yet brooding disposition, under-eyes bruised dark as though from lack of sleep or illness. Extremely detached from the emotional distress related to his loss and will not openly address it beyond surface facts. Can typically be found on his own, reclusively hiding himself away. Extremely, nervously superstitious and wary towards anything that seems beyond the natural realm. (Despite this unease with the supernatural, he will be actively (albeit secretively) pursuing any information he can on it).

PECULIARITIES —

Afflicted with a puzzling supernatural malady that he is very aware of and attempts to pass off as some sort of chronic physical illness. Notable symptoms the general public will inevitably notice include: frequent fever, cold sweats, tremours, and the tendency towards odd behaviours and ways of speaking that may seem along the lines of a nervous tic. More extreme symptoms that may be noticed by those in a closer proximity to Peter for longer periods of time include: convulsions, erratic (often violent) behaviour directed at himself or others, speaking in Latin, and levitating in his sleep. Peter is, in fact, possessed by a demonic entity of unknown origins.

SURFACE DIFFERENCES —

AU-Peter will be consistently wearing glasses, as opposed to the regular Peter's less frequent use of them.

IDEAS —

Given Peter's own link to the supernatural, I'm 100% here for anything involving spiritualism / the occult, and theological elements. I'd also love to play up some really gritty old-school demonic possession / how others might react to that in this time period. Exploring / deepening relations with existing CR is very possible as well — though Peter won't remember anyone, this could be a catalyst for others learning some more about his situation / why he behaves so strangely back home.

CONNECTIONS —

⤷ Peter's older cousin (first, once removed). Will's wife, Molly, was killed in the same accident that claimed Peter's immediate family. Following this sudden, mutual loss, the pair are left without any remaining family in Britain and returning to their homeland of America.

⤷ Peter's roommate on the Titanic. Peter will be attempting to hide his oddities from the other young man, though many of his symptoms present themselves more severely at night while he's sleeping, so Louis will no doubt encounter Peter's demon for himself and have to help keep an eye on it...
