[ This has got to be a nightmare. These... strange texts coming in have all been disorienting, frightening, but this is....

Peter throws his Fluid down onto his bed, stumbling away from it. It's quite some time later that he sends a reply as though in a daze, stunned, fingers trembling. ]

[ Unfortunately, Peter's Nervous and Paranoid enough that he's still thinking this is some kind of... personal attack. Or maybe it's all in his head, which wouldn't be the first time. Either way, he's simply getting more freaked out. ]

[ Or... is this unknown person talking about Annie. There is, somehow, more than one headless woman involved in Peter's past.

The rest, he doesn't really notice much at all or answer to — not even the "Will?" part. Clearly, this message isn't for him, but Peter's just incapable of really making much logical sense right now. ]

[ This definitely feels like one of Deerington's little trials. The ones that have forced Peter to encounter his grandmother and mother, or ghost versions of them, anyway.

Not long ago at all, he wouldn't even have been able to talk about Charlie. But if this is a test trying to make him say it, then he'll go ahead and say it. He's capable of that now, even if only this much. ]
