[ Maul going on a rampage of sorts has happened before, with Fern dying last year. She'd subdued him somewhat, using his madness and his confusion for her as his Master to her advantage to get him to calm down, to stop him from harming others. But this isn't like last time; this is... more, worse. He sees fit to harm everyone who comes in his path.

It's dangerous in more ways than one, and she's worried. Maul's interested in Paimon; less so in Peter, given his opinion on him when they'd spoken. And Peter is very much human, demonically possessed or not. And if Maul's hurting friend and foe alike...?

She's trying not to think about it. She's redoing protection charms and deterrents on her home, breathless when she calls. It'll be left as a voice message: ]

... Where are you? Please be somewhere safe. I'm alright, just— [ There's a long pause, she inhales shakily. ] Please be safe.

[ It's a stroke of horrible irony that Peter's on his way to Luna's as she sends the message. He doesn't see the alert; his Fluid is tucked deeply into his bag under a change of clothes. He's expecting to spend at least one night at her place, wanting to stay close. But he hadn't told her he was coming over, because.... because if he told her why, he knows she'd want to come collect him instead. Because she'd want to protect him, wouldn't want him out on the streets by himself.

And sometimes, Peter wants to protect Luna, instead.

So he's making his way to her home, swiftly. He knows the way there like the back of his hand; he makes sure to take the quickest route. But he won't make it there, and no reply will come to Luna's warning. ]
