[ At first, Peter's wary of the gift — because it's a crown, and he knows The Thing likes those, and he's not sure. But the gift is from K, one of the few adults left in this place whom Peter feels he can trust. He.... thinks K wouldn't do anything to hurt him. And it's this fact alone that leads Peter to actually use the gift instead of shove it away somewhere.

And it doesn't take him long to realise what the gift does. Once he figures that out? He's going to be toting it around with him practically 24/7. It soothes him, helps him, and helps settle the demon within him, too. It is something they both can use, together or apart, and when Paimon's the one in the driver's seat he will absolutely be hanging onto the charm as well. It's a gold crown with gemstones. He loves it. As always, K knows exactly what to do. ]
