It was one of the Core planets
Core meaning closer to the centre of the solar system, Rim meaning further away
Core planets tend to be the wealthier, more technologically advanced places
Rim is mostly ranchland or mining
Osiris had one of the best hospitals in the 'verse. Best of everything, really. Best schools, best museums
My brother was a surgeon there

[Another pause, to collect herself. Trying to wipe her fluid off with her sleeve where her tears have fallen on it]

[ At that lengthy pause, he's sorry he asked, immediately. Asking about family... about parents, can be a lot. Too much, for some people. He knows. And what she says is so awful, so sad. ]

[ He doesn't understand all of it. But he's seen enough. He knows it was.... cruel. ]
